CCT Properties

The two main vehicles the Trust can use to preserve and protect open space are to own the property outright or to obtain and maintain a conservation restriction on it.

The Trust's holdings comprise over 100 acres of shoreline, woodland, and meadow in Cohasset and Scituate. It holds a Conservation Restriction (CR) on a 32-acre parcel known as the Barnes Wildlife Sanctuary, and has contributed to the purchase of over 100 acres of land (Brass Kettle Conservation Area) to protect Cohasset's drinking water supply.
