Ensuring the Legacy of Cohasset
Since its founding, the work of the Cohasset Conservation Trust has been supported by private actions of individuals. The Trust has benefited from gifts of conservation land and commercial property, as well as donations of cash and securities.
Open space in Cohasset faces increasing development pressure. As land values rise, it is more difficult for the Trust to acquire land; in some instances, it simply has lost the opportunity to preserve open land due to limited funds.
The Trust stands ready to sponsor or partner with others in projects that preserve the natural resources of the Town; and to work with individuals or families on the permanent protection of their land.
